I am a physicist who has spent my career working in and subsequently regulating industry in the UK. I have also acted as an expert advisor and consultant to international organisations including the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA). I have a BSc (Hons) in physics from the University of Birmingham and a PhD in physics from the University of Surrey.
I have been a Christian for over 30 years and am an active member of a local church. I am married with three adult sons and I live in Berkshire, UK.
